Shipwrecked is a pirate themed 6x6 cluster paying slot, with a bonus feature that offers a progressional element that increases multipliers and cluster wilds.
Demo Clip & SFX explained
I approached Shipwrecked using light-hearted bubbly sounds to compliment the games comedic and animated visuals. Included are cannonball blasts for wins equal to, and above the players stake, and sword clattering for the wins below stake. I also took direct inspiration from the visuals with SFX like the bubble pops, rope pulls and general ambient soundscapes like seagulls, wave crashes and the creaking of a beached pirate ship to further immerse the player.
basegame and bonus beds
When creating the music for the basegame, I wanted to emphasise a playful theme that compliments the visuals, similarly to the SFX . Taking inspiration from tracks like the ‘Freehold’ theme from World of Warcraft for the bonus bed. Using Spitfire Originals orchestra to produce a track that sways in a 3/4 time signature and reinforcing flute and string melodies with timpani and percussion to secure a well communicated low end of the mix.
