Mafioso
Mafioso is a 1930’s gangster style slot, it entails a 6x6 reel frame with a bonus feature that offers a progressional element that increases multipliers and cluster wilds.

Mafioso was a something new for me as far as music production goes. Before starting, I researched a number of soundtracks (notably The Godfather) to gather general information like time signatures and average tempos, whilst merging and aligning them with the pacing of the slot.
I found that using instruments like mandolin, and reverberated piano really captured the solemn vibe of the game. To pick up the pacing, I used orchestral instruments from Spitfires Originals pack that aligned with the 30’s era, like rolling timpani, cymbals, heavy horns and bowing strings.
